Introduction: What is NEET?

We have all heard of NEET or The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test as it is an essential exam for those intending to seek medical qualification to study abroad and India. S/he must undergo the NEET examination as it is the only qualification examination for medical education. The NEET exam is conducted in India for admission to every government medical institute including admissions to AIIMS and JIPMER since the entrance examinations have been replaced by NEET. If you are considering admission to medical colleges abroad, make sure you apply for NEET examinations as it happens once every year. The NEET examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the results of the exam are provided to the Directorate General of Health Services. The latter is under the Ministry of Health and for seat allocation, the Family Welfare and State Counselling Authorities. For aspiring medical students seeking a way to get admission in medical colleges abroad and in India, NEET plays a crucial role, it is a single entrance test to over 60,000 plus MBBS and BDS seats across the country and abroad.

The NEET application forms for 2022 will release on the official website of NBE. the announcement for the release is yet to be confirmed.

You can go to the official website of NTA and click on the ‘Forgot Registration Number button. You will need to follow the instruction and you will receive the registration number.

For the NEET admit card, one postcard size photo is required. It must be a coloured photo with a white backdrop. This will be downloaded with NEET admit card and handed to the examiner.

Since the virus is still at large, extra precaution measures are best taken into consideration. So, the use of gloves and masks are a mandated requirement inside the examination hall as per the NEET regulations.

If you do not take the NEET exam but plan to stay the medical course after 12 grade then you can consider the following programmes.

If you do not clear the NEET examinations, you won’t be able to apply for  BDS, MBBS, etc. You can opt for other courses like B.Sc and attempt for next NEET.
